How to make your own edits

You will need to contact me (John Crellin) to obtain a username and password before you can make your own edits.

I am a novice so will only put here the few simple things I have learned so far. For much greater detail go to the links at the bottom of this page.

For the first section title at the top of your new page use:
==The Title of Your Page==
For sub-titles use ===, ==== etc.

To link to another page use the following:
[[Page Name]]
- or if you want the actual text different from the page name you are linking to then:
[[Page Name|Actual Text]]

Images Upload the image first using the "Upload file" link towards the bottom left of every page. If there is a warning thta the file-name will be changed just accept it. Try to use meaningful file-names.

To show an image in the text there are many permutations but these examples are useful:

[[Image:filename.jpg|frame|center|This is the text that appears under the image]] for an in-line full-size image.

[[Image:filename.jpg|thumb|right|150px|This is the text that appears under the image]] for a thumbnail (that links to the large image) at the right of the text.

Tables

Tricky ! But the basics are:

{|	Starts the table
|-	Starts a row
|	Starts a cell
|}	Ends the table.
